I love mythology and fairy tales, so The Thessaliad has been a real treat for me so far. But she is not the sort of person I want mad at me rouse her righteous wrath and you will find yourself well and truly dead not pretty dead, either messy dead. Thessaly is the sort of person I want in my corner when I'm in serious trouble. Quest magic is powerful stuff and Thessaly is guaranteed to meet her would-be assassins at the end her journey - provided she can get past the lethal guardians and riddles set in her way. But there is a certain order to these things that must be followed. Not one to sit around after she has been targeted for elimination, Thessaly sets out to find her would-be killers. Grade: 8Someone (or several someones) want Thessaly dead. Readers should proceed at their own risk.
